The Income Tax Bar Association Ladies Wing was established in the year 1991 by Shrimati Hema Mukesh Patel, wife of Shri Mukesh M. Patel, during his tenure as President of the Income Tax Bar Association. Since its inception, the Ladies Wing has played a significant role in promoting the empowerment of women, especially in the domains of knowledge, creativity, and personal development.
The foundation of the Ladies Wing was laid with a vision to create a platform where women associated with the legal and tax fraternity could come together to share ideas, enhance skills, and contribute to society. Over the years, the Ladies Wing has remained steadfast in fulfilling its objectives through multifaceted activities that promote social welfare, cultural enrichment, and skill-building amongst members.
Each year, the Ladies Wing Committee organizes a variety of events and programs ranging from charitable initiatives, health awareness activities, and workshops to festive celebrations, talent showcases, and educational seminars. These efforts have not only fostered a strong sense of community among members but have also extended support to underprivileged sections of society.
